DAY 1
Arrive in Rome, where you will be met at the airport by our local representative.
DAY 2
Begin your sightseeing with visits to Piazza Venezia, the Victor Emmanuel II Monument, the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel.
DAY 3
After an early breakfast, set off to Naples, where you will catch the ferry to Capri, an hour away. If weather permits, visit the Blue Grotto, then return to your hotel in Capri.
DAY 4
Return to Rome, stopping over at Naples, where you will visit the excavation site of Pompeii.
DAY 5
From Rome, drive to Florence, stopping at Greve in Chianti, to indulge in a wine tasting tour of one of the region’s finest vineyards. Drive to Pisa, where you will visit the Field of Miracles and the Leaning Tower. Continue to your hotel in Florence.

DAY 6
Take a guided walking tour of Florence. Explore the Duomo, the Palazzo Vecchio Tower, Ponte Vecchio and the Piazalle Michelangelo. Later, travel to Venice. Take a boat ride over the Giudecca canal to St. Mark’s Square. Accompanied by your local guide, wander around the Bridge of Sighs, the Clock Tower and St. Mark’s Basilica. In the evening, savour a romantic candlelight dinner by the canal.

DAY 7
Visit the Murano glass factory, where a master craftsman will demonstrate the art of creating the famous Venetian blown glass. Return to St. Mark’s Square, and cruise along the canals in a gondola (if weather conditions are favourable) while being serenaded in true Italian style. Return to your hotel.

DAY 8
After breakfast, set off to the airport to catch your flight back home, or continue your holiday with us by spending two nights at Lake Como and one night in Milan.
